In 2008 Carmanah donated six 115W Solar Panels to assist in the refurbishing of Katherine Ward at Mengo Hospital in Kampla Uganda. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Jinja and Kampala Adventures. Here are a few shots of our day RAFTING THE NILE and walking about Kampala. It's difficult to snap pictures while tumbling down class V rapids and the Ugandans can sometimes be a bit funny about having their candid shots snapped, so the selection is limited. Swimming in the Nile! Our rescue crew got a good workout that day. The Incredible Canadian-German Raft Team. The mis-education about AIDS abounds. I have a great idea! Goat and cow skin drums.
