Regarded by many as one of the scenic wonders of the world, Milford Sound is NZ's most visited natural attraction, and the only fiord which can be accessed by road. The 16km long fiord is dominated by the mile-high Mitre Peak (1695m), which rises almost vertically upwards from the glassy waters below. Fiords are created by glacial action, producing U-shaped valleys with steep cliffs. Sumptuous buffet lunch on board the cruise! Trees look like brocolli from afar.

Tuesday, October 20, 2009. 2009 Birthday @ Bali. 2 July 2009 (Thur). Today is my bday and we're heading to Bali for a vacation by the beach! Arrived at Changi Airport T2 and checked-in 1.5 hours ahead of boarding time. Plenty of time for shopping! Went bonkas at DFS and got my first almost $400 a bottle La Mer moisturizer. Started 2010 with a nice chilling 45mins jog along Lake Te Anau (417m deep and 64km long) which is NZ's second largest lake. 20km south of Te Anau lies the waterfront of Manapouri, often described as NZ's loveliest lake. It is NZ's second deepest lake at 444m and the access point to Doubtful South. On our way there, we even spotted a rainbow! What a nice start to the new year. :). It was really beautiful! Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Mykonos. the 2nd Greek island on our travel plan. After staying 3D 2Ns in Santorini, we'll head to Mykonos via ferry. I heard the ferry ride which is about 2.5hours would be absolutely scenic. Mykonos is famous for their windmills. Mykonos town, Chora is said to have more nightlife than Santorini. The island's most idyllic spot, Little Venice is a picturesque neighborhood at the southwest end of the port. Monday, September 22, 2008. Santorini. I'm sure I'll love the place.

Saturday, November 15, 2008. Amazing because the first sight from the train station is the beautiful Grand Canal. Our guest house is a short 10 mins walk from the train station and luckily very easy to find. My fav in Italy. Everywhere is picture perfect! Gondolas - a symbol of Venice. Finally my first tirasimu in the form of gelato. Surprisingly, our cheapest gelato is from Venice, Eur 1! Some of the gelateria near St Peter's @ Rome charge a whopping Eur 5! Sunday, December 28, 2008. Though our hotel in Milan is about 10 mins walk from the train station, it took us a while to find it. The room was simple and clean but colour theme was terrible. Could hear people at the nearby bar and neighbours upstairs walking and dragging their luggage in the wee hours =(. Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Wanaka. my fav place in NZ. Day 6 30 Dec (Wed). Weather is perfect today and the surroundings of our resort is awesome! Skipped breakfast this morning and rented the bicycle for a ride around Wanaka instead. Trek mountain bike at $15/hour was sooo worth it. The ride along the Waterfall Creek Walk was simply awesome!
