With family style eating, almost no disposable utensils or plates, and a minimum of single use items, we try to keep waste out of the lunch room. GCS’s Sustainability Task Force and Green Team won the 2007 honorable mention, but in 2009 and 2010, we won the city-wide Reduce and Reuse Challenge!
