Craighouse, Isle of Jura, PA60 7XS. This is the fun bit. Whichever way you choose to come to Jura, you'll have to cross the sea and you can do it in a variety of ways:. Book a car ferry with Caledonian MacBrayne ferries (or come over as a foot passenger) from the ferry terminal at Kennacraig to Islay (www.calmac.co.uk). The journey takes just over two hours. Once you get to Port Askaig, the Jura ferry is a five minute crossing that departs hourly and doesn't need pre-booking.
