Just a girl writing. Just another WordPress.com weblog. August 10, 2010 by justagirlwriting. I’ve been pondering the idea of happiness a lot lately. Perhaps, it is because there are so many books out these days about the subject. Where does it come from? Why do they have it? When do they have it? How do they have it? How can I get it? And why in the hell am I or do I feel like I am being negative when I really don’t mean to be? Why does my family look at me and my husband as though we come from Pluto?

So while I am thinking about Gothics what is it about the Gothic that I love? 1) Atmosphere- the darker the better (much like my coffee! 2) Creepiness, I do like a train wreck that I can’t see too clearly. Tuesday, February 15, 2011. After 3 years of waiting, hooray! Monday, February 14, 2011. One of my favorite made up recipes. I'm sure it's not original, but I've never followed any recipes for it. This time I put yellow sweet potatoes in it and it's sooo yummy. Red Lentil Coconut Curry with Sweet Potatoes. 2 Tbsp coconut oil. 2 cloves of garlic. 1 Tbsp fresh grated ginger. 1 Tbsp fresh grated turmeric. 1 Thai chile or serrano pepper. 1 Tbsp or so ground coriander. 1 can of coconut milk. 1 c red lentils.

Monday, November 22, 2010. Started knitting something new, but ripped it right away.still looking for a good lace project. In the meantime, I wanted to record this recipe in history on the internets because it's so yummy. Loosely based on this recipe. Though that is a sweet one, and this has garlic in it! Monday, June 27, 2011. My birthday was last week. It was full of chocolate, flowers, cards and lovely friends. Yeah. I'm really not into this whole getting older thing. Homemade pie crust (I used Nigella's recipe, but it didn't have enough butter in it. Bittman next time I think.). 6 oz cream cheese. 3/4 c half and half. About 1/4 c shredded parmesan. 1/2-3/4 c shredded cheddar. 1-1 1/2 c frozen spinach. 4 chopped green onions. And i forgot to put pepper in it, but it's important! I dream of the sea.

Monday, March 28, 2011. Went to the Renaissance Festival in Tampa today with the boys. It was so much fun! We got henna tattoos and walked around in the sun for hours. I tried throwing stars but I think I only got one to stick. There were hilarious people everywhere. And I got to drink mead.
