On the Road: The Republican Party
http://imfromcanada.blogspot.com/2008/11/republican-party.html
Sunday, November 02, 2008. Presidential Candidate: John McCain. Vice-Presidential Candidate: Sarah Palin. Of registered voters: 55 million. Recent poll of economists felt strongly that Mr Obama's economic plan was stronger than Mr McCain's - and it wasn't even close. Please come back tomorrow and cast your vote - keeping in mind that we're pretending to be in a fantasy world where we live with a multi-party system - and vote for the candidate who'd be elected if only your vote would be counted. Don't...

Monday, March 31, 2008. The Benefits of Flexibility. I spent last weekend in Park City, Utah, with one of my best friends, Greg. We traveled together last year in Europe, and I hadn't seen him since leaving him at an airport outside Frankfurt, Germany last September. So when Greg invited me to visit him and his family in Utah for some spring skiing, I was pretty excited. Greg and I were scheduled to flight out of Salt Lake City early on Sunday (different flights), so his dad dropped us off at 6:50, one h...

On the Road: Do you Facebook?
http://imfromcanada.blogspot.com/2009/02/do-you-facebook.html
Friday, February 20, 2009. If so, read this. If you want to delete your account - which is different than deactivating your account - read this. And yes, I understand the irony of my posting this on the internet. I don't know Fitzy - Facebook's all fine and dandy from my point of view. I don't really see the negative outcomes of having my India pictures or some of my witty quips up on the internet. I have a few pictures of myself drinking beer. Which is fine, since I drink beer -. I've inspired old staff...

On the Road: November 2008
http://imfromcanada.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 29, 2008. On Wednesday night, I stopped by the Oriental Theater in Denver with some friends to see a local band called Paper Bird. They were entertaining, but I'd say their eclectic mix of folk-Americana and beautiful women was more of a one-time affair, even for the price ($11). However, I was pleasantly surprised to hear another Denver-area band, The Autumn Film. Playing in the run-up to Paper Bird. It's a Thursday night). Friday, November 21, 2008. INTP - The Thinkers. On the Road: July 2008
http://imfromcanada.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 05, 2008. To celebrate the 4th of July, some friends and I went on a hike south of Breckenridge. We climbed a few mountains - Lincoln, Bross and Democrat - for most of the morning and early afternoon. It was the perfect way to escape record heat in Denver and enjoy the sun on our Independence Day. Hope yours was great, too. Here are a few pictures. No Camping" wasn't strictly enforced. Colorful forbs near the Bross summit. Matt leaving the summit of Lincoln walking west. On our first night...
