Failure to comply with the new legislation will result in the following possible Fines and Penalties. Fixed penalty Notice 400. Escalating Penalty Notice of 50 to 10,000 per DAY. A Prohibited Recruitment Conduct Penalty Notice from 1,000 to 5,000, depending on the number of employees. A Civil Penalty Notice (where contributions have not been paid)- 5,000 per individual and 50,000 per organisation. If you remain non-compliant, you could face a criminal prosecution and prison for up to 2 years.
