Justin and Annalise: June 2012
http://justinandannalise.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 17, 2012. Playing for the Aztecs - Spring Season. Another Aztec shot - he got his hands on this one! He's been working hard on strategy. And getting the ball where it needs to go. Action Shot - Winter Season with the Tigers. One of my favorites! This was a save made playing with the Tigers. After several years of dedication to his love of American Football, Justin decided to take a break and try his hand at the "Real Futbol". Hats off to my soccer stud! He stopped plenty of shots, but he got...
Justin and Annalise: Twas the night before Christmas...
http://justinandannalise.blogspot.com/2012/12/twas-night-before-christmas.html
Friday, December 21, 2012. Twas the night before Christmas. Twas the night before Christmas. One of my biggest worries whenever we move is how the kids will adjust to their new schools. I feel bad for them when they say good-bye at the old school, I feel excited with them when they see their new house, and I feel the fear they feel on the first day at the new school. She made a friend and she said she loved her teachers. As long as we're admitting things here, the truth is that I miss Salt Creek and ...
Justin and Annalise: July 2011
http://justinandannalise.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 4, 2011. I'm not sure what happened today, but I think she just decided she was ready to give it a try! I asked her if she wanted to play "starfish" (which I had seen another mom doing) and as a starfish she was 100% on board with floating on her back with her ears in the water. She says it's peaceful under the water without all of the people screaming all over the place. (Huh - maybe I should try living under the water? Friday, July 1, 2011. Justin and Annalise: Coffee
http://justinandannalise.blogspot.com/2013/04/coffee.html
Wednesday, April 17, 2013. I am always disappointed in myself for not updating my blog more often because I have so much darn fun when I go back to read it! Here's another one I dug out. I wrote this around Christmas, 2010 when John was in Qatar. I think I had been struck with a case of the "Deployment Blues! A friend (a working mom) asked me this weekend, "Why don't you update your blog? I wish I could do this as well as she does. I wonder what her secret is? With the somewhat pious question rolling aro...
Justin and Annalise: May 2012
http://justinandannalise.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 18, 2012. Where in the world are we these days? It's not just sports events for us! A second later, Annalise's head bobbed up and I saw that she was supervising whatever activity was going on. I figured they were safe as long as she was in charge. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Family | One Navy Mom
http://www.onenavymom.com/my-family-story
I used to keep a blog Justin and Annalise. As a way for our family to stay connected while we were apart due to moves, deployments, whatever. I stopped writing, mostly out of laziness, but more because I was afraid of embarrassing my kids. They’ve given me permission to continue the stories. This section is meant for family but if you are interested in reading our silly stories, you are most certainly welcome! Photography Credit goes to my friend Erin Kelly of Silent Stories Photography.

The Wild World of Welchs. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Back from hiatus - at least for now! It's been awhile since I've posted any updates, mainly due to the craziness the Welch household has been going through the last several months! And I know the craziness is only going to get worse, not better, with the addition of Baby Bean! Stay tuned for our 2012 Spring and Summer Adventures as a family of FOUR! The Wild World of Welchs: Piper Jayne - 22 Months
http://jenandmattwelch.blogspot.com/2012/05/piper-jayne-22-months.html
The Wild World of Welchs. Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Piper Jayne - 22 Months. I know it's been awhile since I've really posted about our sweet little angel, and I feel it's time to give the world an update on all the new things she's been learning and doing. The hard part is where to start? Where did my baby girl go? She is now no longer even my "toddler" but my little girl! One thing is for sure - Piper Jayne has very little fear and is a MONKEY! Jumping is one skill that she's slowly learning and has alm...
The Wild World of Welchs: August 2011
http://jenandmattwelch.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
The Wild World of Welchs. Friday, August 12, 2011. Indiana Roadtrip - Keith Urban. Matt and I found out that Keith Urban was playing at the local concert venue while we were in town, so we decided to have an impromptu night out and see if we could score some tickets. And SCORE we did! We've now decided that we're going to plan our summer trips out to Fort Wayne around the concert schedule in the hopes that we can score such great "seats" again! Indiana Roadtrip Stop #3 - Fort Wayne. Lake Gage - the lake ...
The Wild World of Welchs: November 2011
http://jenandmattwelch.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
The Wild World of Welchs. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Santa Claus visted the whole family on our last day in Indiana - unfortunately, Piper Jayne wanted nothing to do with him and spent the afternoon giving him the snake eye each time she snuck past him. Hopefully, she'll warm up to him a little more on our next visit. Matt's parents have a median that runs down the street between the houses where all the neighborhood houses can dump their leaves for the city to pick up (I WISH we had this convenience!
The Wild World of Welchs: October 2012
http://jenandmattwelch.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
The Wild World of Welchs. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Piper Jayne loves herself a pumpkin patch. She got lucky this year and got to go twice, once with Daddy and her school, and once with Mama, Daddy, Callan and her. We got lucky and had a beautiful day this year! Back from Hiatus - The New Normal. So you may have noticed that I've been on hiatus for the last 8 months or so, not for lack of anything to write about, but rather because I haven't had the time! Labor Day weekend flew by as did our 4 year an...

The Wild World of Welchs. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Back from Hiatus - The New Normal. So you may have noticed that I've been on hiatus for the last 8 months or so, not for lack of anything to write about, but rather because I haven't had the time! Callan Robert Worthman Welch was born on April 29th, after 2 long days of labor! The summer was spent adjusting to our "new normal" of 2 kids, and a lot less sleep! What selfless parents we are! Our little Miss Independent had her first day of pre-school an...
The Wild World of Welchs: Pumpkins!
http://jenandmattwelch.blogspot.com/2012/11/pumpkins.html
The Wild World of Welchs. Thursday, November 8, 2012. Our little Miss Priss was NOT a fan of pumpkin carving, so we let her paint her pumpkin instead. Even Callan got a pumpkin, which we of course had to include the paci since that kid always has one in his mouth. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Wednesday, February 6, 2013. I have no idea what to title this post. Over the last six months we have had so many wonderful things go on in our lives and some not so good ones. Justin and Annalise
Monday, May 20, 2013. Time keeps marching on and no matter how hard I try, I cannot seem to stop it! I can still remember when the kids would play on the trampoline at Leah's house in Portsmouth and they restricted their tricks to the "butt bounce" due to personal safety concerns and coordination limitations. Annalise has been working very hard in dance recently to perfect her splits as well as her balance. This trick shows you how very far she's come! Wednesday, April 17, 2013. As I was going through th...

Justin Annette and the Kiddos
Justin Annette and the Kiddos. St Charles, IL. Saturday, June 16, 2012. Day Camp 2012- I spent the day in Greeley with Everitt and his Cub Scout troop. This was his first day camp and he was so excited for the building projects. These boys got to be cowboys on the frontier. Some of their activities were making a shelter, fire pit, mini wagons for a relay race, doing some cooking, sewing and panning for gold! They also got to shoot BB Guns and archery. Two full days of fun! Everitt found gold nuggets!
