Its kind of a sad thing. Have you ever been in a group of people or circle of friends that had certain slang, and eventually the meaning of the words completely changed? The Science of Sexuality. December 18, 2006. I recently read an interesting study. The study goes a long way in demonstrating that sexual orientation has a significant genetic influence, an idea that a lot of conservatives and Christians have argued strongly against. This position was aimed at destroying the notion that non-heterosexual behavior could be justified on the basis of an individual’s nature (that is, natural inclinations – ie, the “no one is born that way” argument).
