The Ellis Family: February 2011
http://fiske-ellis.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Matt, Ashley, Connor, and Jake. Sunday, February 27, 2011. Out of the mouths of babes. Tonight's advice from Connor was just too good to pass up! We were celebrating Joshua's birthday and Antonia jokingly asked Connor to tell Joshua how to be a nice boy. Connor's response? You just have to close your mouth and make a happy face! First of all, I promise I never tell him to. Talking (well, maybe on the 1,256th "Mommy! Of the drive home). Tune him out sometimes? Well, maybe. Discourage talking?

The Ellis Family: June 2010
http://fiske-ellis.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Matt, Ashley, Connor, and Jake. Thursday, June 24, 2010. I know I sound like the English teacher dork that I am, but Matt and I were marvelling yesterday at the fact that he can now say complete sentences. Well, sort of. He can put a subject, verb, and object together in the correct order. Pretty impressive - he could teach some former students a thing or two! Just a couple of pictures from the first days of summer:. Filling up the pool! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mary's Mission by Mom.

http://fiske-ellis.blogspot.com/2010/12/holiday-recap-2010.html
Matt, Ashley, Connor, and Jake. Friday, December 31, 2010. Christmas was the usual whirlwind of activity, starting the week before with the Ellis family Christmas dinner. Santa came to our house (even though Connor exclaimed several times before Christmas day that, "I just wanna be a bad boy. I don't want Santa to bring me any presents. I just wanna be a bad boy! Connor is so very lucky to have so many people who love him so much. That Christmas time is only once a year. May I have some presents, please?

Connor and Stella chat over some crackers and juice. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Ellis Family: Catching up
http://fiske-ellis.blogspot.com/2012/05/catching-up.html
Matt, Ashley, Connor, and Jake. Saturday, May 26, 2012. I can't believe how long it has been since my last blog entry. After a crazy winter and spring, I've promised myself to 1) catch up on posts that should have been written and 2) keep up! This will be hard; work is crazy, school is crazy, but the memories are important! Ryan and Connor singing their song. We love Mrs. Graca! Smiles from Jaden while they wait to sing. No, we're singing MY song.no, MY song. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Ellis Family: July 2010
http://fiske-ellis.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Matt, Ashley, Connor, and Jake. Friday, July 23, 2010. Two Years of Fun! It's so hard to believe that this time two years ago Connor was just preparing to enter the world. While it seems impossible that two years has already flown by, it is also really difficult to remember life before he arrived. From 9 pounds to 30 pounds, it's been a great adventure and we can't wait for the next year! Are for amateurs :). It's hot. Conna wear sunglasses! Almost time for a boat ride! Hanging out with Daddy!

The Ellis Family: Spring Break Adventure
http://fiske-ellis.blogspot.com/2011/04/spring-break-adventure.html
Matt, Ashley, Connor, and Jake. Monday, April 11, 2011. I think he ran for 45 minutes without stopping on our first outing. He saw alligators, several blue heron, and even went on a "lizard hunt" (tiptoe through the grass and whisper, "here, lizard, lizard, lizard! In a squeaky voice). Fortunately for Aunt Bonnie, there are so many lizards in Hilton Head that this method proved to work like a charm. And a close-up of more running! How does this kid have so much energy? The Ellis Family: Almost Three!
http://fiske-ellis.blogspot.com/2011/07/almost-three.html
Matt, Ashley, Connor, and Jake. Thursday, July 21, 2011. While his logic is often faulty, his reasoning skills are so good that we forget he isn't even three. He is sure to be a lawyer! He is definitely asserting himself and testing limits (see time-out picture below), but I guess it is all part of the stages of growing up. Fortunately for Mommy, he will sit still to read a book and always asks to rock in his chair at night! I'd like to keep it that way for a little while longer. Mary's Mission by Mom.
