What it looks like ahead | justmeandthebirds
https://justmeandthebirds.wordpress.com/2012/12/28/what-it-looks-like-ahead
A little about me and the life I choose to live. 100 things about me. What it looks like ahead. Without going into too many things ( and of you’d like to know, ask for the password on a previous post), this year has been one for the books. It has been the hardest, and yet most surprising year ever. It’s broken my faith in people and renewed it in others…and I guess that’s not an awful thing. 4 Responses to “What it looks like ahead”. The summer that never was…. | justmeandthebirds
https://justmeandthebirds.wordpress.com/2013/08/01/the-summer-that-never-was
A little about me and the life I choose to live. 100 things about me. The summer that never was…. This summer has just flown by. Not to mention, I seriously was blindsided by the fact that I have to go back to work next Monday. It’s been such a whirlwind and I know that the main reasoning for that is the fact that I had surgery. It seriously took up most of the summer, from pre- surgery fun and planning to post-surgery recovery. But it WOULD be nice for one more week of summer! Oh how things change.

A little about me and the life I choose to live. 100 things about me. Oh how things change. I remember a time when I thought that there wouldn’t be a few days, much less a week, that I went without blogging. That obviously hasn’t happened…and I probably didn’t need to point that out. I guess life…but I have actually been reading all my favorites, just not really commenting and to be honest, it just hasn’t been a priority to post about my stuff, when I’m in the midst of it. A little about me and the life I choose to live. 100 things about me. 100 things about me. This is a work in progress, but it’ll end up with 100 things about…well….me. I start the majority of my sentences with the word “so”, both in writing and in speech. I severely dislike watermelon. I do not like people putting their finger in my ear…for any reason. I love food and grew up in a home where we routinely did “taste tests” of certain things. My dad will plan a vacation based around food. I own 6 mice.

New Life: I'm Back?
http://newlifesd.blogspot.com/2011/10/im-back.html
Want To Date Me? This is what you need to know. 5:35 PM Edit This. But these are also the only two classes I have to take in order to test for my certification - which is why I opted to do them the same semester. Lots has happened since I last posted. Did I tell you there is going to be another Baby Z? Did I tell you that Dog Girl and Boy are having a baby? Did I tell you about my sister's wedding? Sigh So much to say, but so little at the same time. Those dark places leave me kind of blank and empty.

Just me and sometimes bacon. Living life, loving food, being healthy, finding balance…oh…and bacon. Body image – we just might all be shallow. August 3, 2015. Do you look in the mirror and say wonderful things to yourself? Do you say anything? Is there a when did that wrinkle arrive? Or a your stomach is dangerously big? Or a Why do I have such mousy brown hair? Being said or thought? In my first few meetings of the week I had members put a negative thought about their bodies on paper in a basket and we ...

Figuring out being a mum. On my own. Down, but not out…. August 7, 2015. August 7, 2015. My Dad came over unexpectedly last night with a new lock for the Bean’s bedroom window (the old one is busted, and given that Bean climbs everything he possibly can, I figured it was high time I dealt with it) and under his arm (my Dad, not Bean) he had a large, flat cardboard box. It looked suspiciously like the kind of box a new computer might come in. 8220;Did Mum not tell you? He looked at me. August 5, 2015.

Just Me and The Boys
Just Me and The Boys. Sunday, June 8. Well, it's happened. Well, we've lived here for two years now, and I've found myself pretending that we actually have a summer here. This is our first official summer in the sense that we have a kid in school now, and we observe that school year schedule. It was our first time to count down days til summer. Even my preschooler who continues his part-time program through the summer is aware of the "season," thanks to the movie, Frozen. As summer 2013 approached, peopl...
Just Me and the Boys
Between my husband and our 3 boys, I'm out numbered, 4 to 1. and I'm loving it. Friday, July 8, 2016. This morning I had a talk with my eldest. He's 12 years old, 5'2". He's half white, but he's also half brown. And then my poor 8 year old chimes in, "Now I'm scared to walk the dogs." Jesus. I wanted to educate my children, not scare them. But I guess in cases like these, there's no way around that. These are frightening times we are living in. We're all scared. Thursday, June 23, 2016. And that's just w...
