February 14, 2016. Confession time. I straightened my hair and wore it that way for a week. Typically I can’t wait to get back to my curls but this time around I enjoyed my straight hair more than ever. One word explains this- convenience. This is typically a good depiction of how I feel before bed. I don’t want to braid, roll or twist it. I don’t want to re-moisturize and seal it in. I just want to go to bed. And when I wake up I want to throw it up without worrying about frizz and taming the curls.

I had a knee surgery exactly 3 weeks ago (haha, during this time of day too) to clean up some debris around the kneecap. If you saw me limping around PATH, that debris was the cause. Called off the whole thing beforehand because I was scared about the costs! Oh ye of little faith. That'll preach, right? Whoa, that anesthesia stuff is working already!

Today, I did some Google research about natural ways to help a swollen knee out. Berries, apples, pineapples, CHOCOLATE, raw foods and other stuff. It's easy for me to dwell on the seemingly unfairness of it all. why did it have to happen to them with all that they've gone through.
