Sunday, 19 July 2015. Wonderful family wedding, meadows, pretty field bindweed, remains of a grass snake. Had family staying for a wonderful family wedding at Magdalen College and the Bodleian Divinity School. This morning, after a grilled breakfast on the lawn, had a lovely walk across the fields to the meadows near Rushey lock, where the curlew nest and the snipe sometimes overwinter. Saturday, 29 August 2015. Thames-side walk to work, past-what-past? Marking, time off, kitchen nearly there, yay! Sunday, 22 February 2015. Oxford clay, first cycle ride of the year, hedging, allotment, spuds and squash. The above pics were taken during my walk yesterday morning. The water meadow beyond Glebelands was flooded in places and sticky with Oxford clay nearly everywhere. The higher fields weren't much better. Some strikingly vivid skies, though.
