Sunday, November 28, 2010. We made our annual trek to the local Christmas tree farm today. String Bean is now 3 (yes, she had an epic birthday celebration since my last post) and fully enjoyed the experience. Marcus is just about completely potty trained. Something we let him do on his own time frame, and because of that it has been amazingly easy. He is also sleeping in a big boy bed, another thing made easy but us letting him do it when he was ready. Where in the world has the time gone? My back pain is still there, and ridiculous!

It seems just as soon as I got used to writing 2009, it's time to change to 2010! I've certainly been through a lot this year (myself and with my family) so I'm ready to look at 2010 with some hope for change! I know that my only true hope comes from the love and faithfulness of Jesus Christ who died for my sins!

Monday, October 11, 2010. It was estimated that he had 80% blockage of his main artery. Really he was a heart attack waiting to happen at this point. He spent the weekend after surgery in the ICU but did fabulous! He was taken off the ventilator about 6 hours after he came out of surgery and by the evening of Saturday (24 hours out of surgery) he was walking the halls. 回来了。结束了。开始了。 日子在一转眼就到达了结束，即使已经回到家好几天了，但灵魂感觉好像落在了兵营。 在日记本上写着无数的：“我想回家。”，“想念家里。”之类的话语。 进入宿舍，看着一个又一个不认识的人们忙着自己的事情，自己只好也整理自己的行李。不敢与人搭话。 诺大的房间，有二十五个人，十九个马来人，五个华人和唯一的印度人。 二十五个来自不同背景的人，有着二十五个故事，即使在一路来的相处之中有难免的小摩擦，所幸还是安然的度过了短短的两个月半。 认识了很多很好的朋友之外，老师也不错，膳食也挺棒。 除了每天都要爬那一道长长的楼梯，差点累死人之外呢，其他一切都给我带来了满满的回忆。 还有一堆人回到宿舍时，挤在小小的镜子前看着自己被晒黑的脸，然后就是看着别人的脸互相嘲笑的时候，那一串又一串的笑声，真的很让我想念。 上课的日子即使再乏味，再沉闷，现在想起，还是会有一丝丝的想念。 就让这些满满的回忆，烙印在心里的深处，然后贴上“那些年当兵的日子。”的标签，想起时再一一回味。 我对自己说好了 不准哭，但在巴士上，她们的一通电话，一首友谊万岁。 订阅： 帖子 (Atom).
