Personal and professional development. Saturday, 27 October 2012. Design Strategy; Manchester print fair and Papercut exhibition. We then went on to the Papercut exhibition and although this was a bit more arty, it was still applicable again due to my love of stock. There was some amazing work and it's surprising what can be done with paper, some of it was so detailed. I really enjoyed this day out so would like to do something similar in the future. This year for me, is all about finding my definite place within the industry and also gaining experience. I feel as though i'm not far away from this goal but there is still a number of things I can do to reach it. 5 things I want to do;. Focus on illustration and branding. Gain a greater understand of print and the processes. Use book binding within some of my briefs. Take part in competition and live briefs.
