Tsukuba’s Most Important Traditional Rite. 30 March, 2016. Mt Tsukuba, with its twin peaks, has long been seen as a manifestation of the Male and Female forces. At 877 meters it is not very high or majestic. But for those of us who live on the vast (by Japanese standards, of course! It also bears plenty of cultural and historical significance.
