Friday, November 11, 2005. Leg 6 Expect the unexpected! Kilwa Masoko Mtwara 200 km, in 6 days. Our two new team’s mates had flown in for the. Adventure of their lives! Calm, flat sheltered waters was what they had, had in mind! I’m sorry but that is not what lay ahead of us! A friendly passing yachtsman’s warned us before leaving Kilwa Masoko that the waters we were heading for were some of the roughest and toughest they had navigated since leaving Madagascar! Two were less fortunate than the others!
