Bread Crumbs Along The Way. The power company replaced the transformer and pulled their line through our conduit the other day and Andy (my electrician) and I have been energizing the new circuits one-by-one, finding all sorts of horrors along the way. Or years we watched the shows on PBS, but had to save all that desire and energy- we were renters. Although our landlord was cool and let us do some minor things, we bided our time. The real fun began when we bought a 100 year-old house in Portland, Oregon. Some good friends helped remove the plaster and lath from the walls of the living and dining rooms. Ext we had to deal with an under-sized 4x6 beam that was supporting 24 foot-long ceiling joists between the living and dining rooms. Our solution.

尤其是 direct year 2 那十一個同學. 要繼續默默耕耘, be a jim! 年頭時開始做final year project, 一心本著最後一份project對待, 卻被tutor 指導到一個不太屬於自己的功課。直到現在我都沒有勇氣拿這份連自己都不喜歡的功課出來。在追趕FYP的同時，也是交portfolio的關鍵時候。那個三月四月，每分每秒都在想著這事，當知道要interview時,更是進入人生中最大壓力的時候。花了很多時間和心機，找了很多人幫手，然後自覺不失禮的去面試，面試的過程太有壓迫感，所準備的對答一點兒都用不著，最後心裡流著哭的回家去，那晚問自己，到底自己在努力什麼。第二天睡醒後又繼續追趕FYP, 因為 life goes on. 記得那晚在學校工作到十一點幾, 回家後收到 offer, 那時正吃著杯面, 流下開心的眼淚, 那放下心頭大石的感覺, 難以形容。那是最好的生日禮物。陪伴我度過這年難過的日子, 蘇打綠的歌, 是如此真實又有力量的. 頻率，這天，玉蝴蝶，相信，青葱，控制狂，你在煩惱什麼.
