http://dublinerindeutschland.blogspot.com/2015/06/other-expats-come-and-go-but-im-still.html
Just a girl from Dublin, Ireland, living in southern Germany with my German husband blogging about my experiences. Saturday, June 20, 2015. Other expats come and go but I'm still here. One of the problems with making friends with other expats is that a lot of them are only living in Germany temporarily and eventually move back to their home countries (or some place else). A blog written by an American expat who has moved permanently to Germany - about life in Germany, the differences between the U.S. Midwest and southern Germany, the German language, and international travel. Why did you move to Germany? Where did you live in the U.S? I grew up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and most recently lived in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The state of Wisconsin is one of the northern states of the section of the U.S. called "the Midwest." North of Chicago. :-). Did your kids move with you?
