Apple Store Valentine's Day gift guide. I worked on the marketing interaction design team. My director and I created the design for the Apple Store Valentine's Day gift guide. We worked with copywriters to encourage shoppers to purchase Apple products for their loved ones. View in archive of Apple Store. Role: Principal visual design. At only 16 pixels the apple favicon is my smallest design, but with the largest reach! I recreated the logo at this smaller size under the guidance of my director.

Notes on competitive analysis. A user reading the home page. PASSAGE Digital MAGAZINE concept. For my senior thesis project at DAAP I created a concept of a world news magazine targeted to a younger audience. Through interviews and surveys I found people in their early 20s who follow news feel that they don't understand the full context of many world issues. They have trouble focusing on a long story because of clutter and distractions. Pictures, maps and videos appeal to readers' varied learning styles.

A city bus stop at UC campus. Most students drive to campus or live nearby and walk. Kiosk concept, including event calendar, bulletin board and interactive map. I attended a two-day interaction design workshop with Frog Design. At University of Cincinnati. The workshop simulated a typical Frog project, from design research through final presentation. We gathered into teams that included both interaction and industrial design students. The Cincinnati bus system isn't inviting to UC students.
