I think often times it is so easy to look at an indivdual and place judgements or ideas about why they are acting the way that they are but without looking at their home life and what their family is like we can be very wrong about our assumptions. Family 160, Fall 2011. Parenting with respect (12/1/2011). Though the videos we watched for parenting were at times a bit over dramatic, I thought the lessons they taught were good. What they said about respect made me think a lot. If we as parents don't treat our children with respect, how are children supposed to learn it? It' s a lot like spanking; if we spank our children for hitting someone, what did we just teach them? It's ok to hit when your older? Anyways, I think the the cost that your children...
