tillymint's desk: February 2008
http://tillymintsplace.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 26 February 2008. Blue and green should never be seen? That's the theme of this weeks challenge over on the Papertake. Blog I often use blue and green together, I think it's a lovely colour combination! The patterned paper is from the K&Co 'Small Wonders Boy' range and the main image is a Magnolia stamp. I cut down the Magnolia stack of gifts to make a smaller stack and mounted them on foam pads - the stamped definition is on foam pads too. I think green and blue look pretty cool together! Gosh,...

http://tillymintsplace.blogspot.com/2012/05/worn-and-washed-quilt.html
Wednesday, 23 May 2012. Worn and washed quilt. It all started with this. I was at Quilts UK at Malvern last week and had stood and gazed in awe at the fabulous quilts on display. Absolutely stunning they were, so much work had gone into them all. They were all worthy of first prize ribbons. But. they were so perfect that I just couldn't visualise them on a bed in my own home. They were just too lovely to be used. know what I mean? If you had told me last week that I'd be hand quilting a quilt I'd have ho...

http://grannycrafting.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, 13 September 2012. I have just added a Personalised Stocking to the shop but at the same time I took photos of a little box I made as a Christmas present for a stitching friend (who doesn't "do" computers, thankfully). No stitching for this one just sticking but I did find sticking fabric easier than I have found sticking paper! 65279; It needs filling with scissors and other sewing goodies but I put a thimble in the middle and some needles in just to show how it works. Charmian, is part of the...

tillymint's desk: Two finishes!
http://tillymintsplace.blogspot.com/2012/06/two-finishes.html
Friday, 15 June 2012. After the gorgeous weather at the end of last month, it turned cooler and much, much wetter. very windy too. Definitely not gardening weather. so what better excuse to settle down in my sewing room and sew, sew, sew! I have finished my Worn and Washed quilt! It took hours and hours and hours to do all the hand quilting, but I am so pleased with it and am determine to do more hand quilting in the future. All that rhythmic stitching really is very addictive :). Have a great weekend,.

needle felt challenge: April 2014
http://needlefeltchallenge.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
I took a little break in Normandy. As you can see, the weather was just amazing. So, I spent lots of time walking on the beach, and also a little in the countryside. Normandy is green, very green. I love it. I finished my two little scrap quilts. This one has found a new home. I gave it to a friend who was visiting from China. Now, I am quilting the large quilt. I took pictures yesterday, but I'm afraid I forgot to download them on my computer. It will be for the next post. I made it with a layer cake...
