An American in Japan. Friday, May 29, 2009. 9 Days Till Departure. This summer, I'll be studying abroad in Japan at Kanazawa Institute of Technology. Students from UIUC, Rose-Hulman, and RIT all participate in KIT's Intensive Program in Japanese for Science and Technology (IJST) over the course of about 6 and a half weeks.
