It was intended to expand to a book, but once the firefight was over, it never went anywhere. In particular, I had heard that FASA was trying to distance Shadowrun from the Earthdawn prehistory. It has a part or two I wish I had incorporated, but again, it was the basis for the story. An outline is mainly a brain dump and may not be consistent. It may get polished up a bit or even turned directly into a story. Note for example that blowing up the station. Turned into blowing up Logan's head.

Vampirism - most strongly influenced by Hamilton. Elite Special Forces - most strongly influenced by Jackson (As in GURPS. When I used to roleplay, I could get lost in character developement. In the GURPS system, you could build skill points in anything and everything. I think both the Morrow Project. One Foot in the Grave. Dead on my Feet.

This stuff may never make the story, but I keep it to get a good feel of how I intended to craft the character. With Vaughn Ryan, the original intent was baseball meets the Army. I drew on Catch 22.
