April 2012 – farmfreshmama
https://farmfreshmama.wordpress.com/2012/04
Ok…Now say Hello to…. April 29, 2012. We’ve had one busy busy month! First we had the trauma of losing our beloved family pet, Dolomite. He was truly the BEST dog EVER! Well behaved, well mannered, voice trained, house trained, snuggly, gentle, watchful, and loving… Now in the space of not even two weeks, we’ve adopted TWO new puppies! I know when I’ve been spoiled and man, was I ever spoiled with Dolo! These two pups are rambunctious, ill-mannered, energetic, high-strung and definitely NOT house trained!

So it went from this:. With my little helper:. To this, my tah-dah moment! It’s been completed since April and I’m still debating doing a border – though, I do like it like this! So this is my process:.

June 26, 2012. June 26, 2012. Well, I still have until bedtime but today is the last day of our fasting diet! Or Cheez-Its, Pringles, practically any salted, bagged or boxed snack? I just threw out bags of chips that have been hanging around from one of our feast day BBQ’s. I don’t want them anywhere near myself or my family! Throughout this process, I’ve lost some weight, too. I consider this a happy side effect! I’ve been feeling better, sleeping better, and, obviously, eating better! Something else I ...

Returning to the roots of my childhood. What happens when God shows up in the little moments…. March 1, 2015. March 1, 2015. Forgiveness shows up once you’ve come out of yourself enough to realize the other person is lashing out because he feels helpless to control his own situation. Helpless to fix what is wrong without someone else’s help. Or lashing out in perceived defense and having it come crashing back down on him. Quiet descends. The hurt doesn’t go away but there is peace again. December 8, 2014.

February 2013 – farmfreshmama
https://farmfreshmama.wordpress.com/2013/02
Returning to the roots of my childhood. February 11, 2013. Ventured out into the newest snowstorm this morning – what an experience! I’m driving a borrowed car from a very generous friend so I can get back and forth to the grocery store, church and get my wild man from school if necessary. However, though it is 10 years old, it’s a fabulous Mercedes in great condition and I’m scared to death to damage it! What a lovely car! Yet driving it in a snowstorm was a bit knuckle-biting!
