Hmm running is easier than this! Trying something new can be a trying experience, I seem to be better at deleting posts rather than adding them! Despite rain and wind today I went out for an hour, a good way of diluting the noise of the school day. Funnily, after having run the Little Rock marathon in February, running in yucky conditions doesn't seem so bad. Sloshing through puddles, hoping they weren't going to freeze over.well, a rain shower seems mild compared to that. Create a free website.

Is running when you thought you were going to have to take an injury enforced break. I took a tumble down a flight of stairs a few days ago and hurt my back and 2 toes. Not so great for anyone - but certainly not someone who has a marathon around the corner. Therefore as I went out for a trial run, I was a happy little runner, because it seems like i am healing just fine. So, tomorrow is hills then a little rest time before the last long run next week. Do I Like Running? I finished a 2 hour workout watching TV. That's pretty easy to like. My husband is off doing his long swim. and I wonder; does he actually like that? PlenTy of running but no blogging.until. My most recent runs worth noting are Athens and a week later, Istanbul. Athens, the original marathon. On the bus ride to the start I was not impressed by what seemed like a lack of preparation on the part of the organizers. A couple of port a potties were the only evidence that there was to be a marathon in a matter of hours AND it seemed like the bus was going beyond a distance of 26.2miles. Create a free website. Friday, October 28, 2011. Love to you all! Fall Drive to Kholmsk. We started by driving south west across the island to a little coastal town called Nevelsk. I thought it was beautiful even if it was cloudy. Part of the drive across the middle of the island was on a dirt road, with very little traffic and very little signs of life.
