http://lorimakes.blogspot.com/2012/08/year-of-projects.html
Sunday, 19 August 2012. A while back I completed one of my projects - in my Year of Projects list. Thought I better post about it before I forget! The list is part of Come-Blog-a-long. A ravelry group where we commit to our projects and share our progress (or lack of) and challenges. The project was Floral Curtain Tiebacks from Cute and Easy Crochet. lorimakes: Sweet flower granny blanket
http://lorimakes.blogspot.com/2011/08/sweet-flower-granny-blanket.html
Monday, 1 August 2011. Sweet flower granny blanket. I'm so happy to have finally completed my first crochet blanket - a sweet flower granny blanket for my daughter's bed. The design comes from the lovely Attic24. It took me nearly a year to complete, with many stops and starts along the way. It is the most beautiful and clever design. While the little picot flowers were a bit tedious, crocheting the larger granny squares, and perfecting good colour combinations was a joy. Sweet flower granny blanket.

10 things about me. Monday, 12 December 2011. Although the laptop issues are back! And even worse than all of that - I've lost all my bookmarks! In the meantime I have done a little knitting. I'm so glad I started late October as I am running out of time now and the days are filled with lots of crafting of a different kind, take a peek at the other blog. If you want to know more! I finally finished this little set for the littlest girlie after a mini rant at the mittens that wouldn't turn out right:.

Knit sew hooked: It's not SSS, honest!
http://crafty-or-dafty.blogspot.com/2013/02/its-not-sss-honest.html
10 things about me. Monday, 18 February 2013. It's not SSS, honest! Second sock syndrome - do you suffer with it? I finished up the first of the Old Joe socks over the weekend. And immediately cast on.something different! Not going to reveal what just yet, maybe you can guess:. The reverse side, very pretty tight stitch. The right side, much loopier when gently stretched. This is more like it's true colour. Love this texture, wouldn't it be great in silver yarn? A perfect chain mail singlet for dressing up.

Knit sew hooked: Hmmmm.....
http://crafty-or-dafty.blogspot.com/2013/02/hmmmm.html
10 things about me. Friday, 22 February 2013. Not a lot of crafting going on around here! Elastibaby is now developing into velcrobaby. You know elastibaby stage right? The one where you have that invisible elastic band that connects you both? The bands fine when you're both together. You can stretch it a little and pass baby to someone else, maybe even pop into another room? Oh and I've updated my bloglist - see it over there on the left? Anyway, got to go, velcrobaby has noticed the separation. Hi Beck...

Knit sew hooked: November 2012
http://crafty-or-dafty.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
10 things about me. Friday, 2 November 2012. There was a bag stuffed with pieces of fabric:. There was a paper bag with a piece of white fabric poking out. As I tipped it gently out I discovered it was a heavy linen tablecloth partly embroidered, with a huge collection of embroidery threads hidden beneath it:. One day the love and care put into this piece will be continued, maybe by me, maybe by someone else, but it will be beautiful. The final gift from this kind, sweet lady was these:. A reminder of th...

Laquo; FOs: Grape Fizz and Lemongrass Plain Old Socks. A Christmas Mystery ». And so it begins. For the last week or so I've been hitting the Christmas knitting fairly seriously. Here's a little peek at one of the projects on the needles:. I may look like a mitten, but I am really a glove*. I hear you on th...
