He called me today to see if I could get him a replacement insert for a brush holder I sell on my StreetGalleryArt Website. We talked about all things art; a little football and compared our experiences in painting. I would like to share some of his work for everyone else to see! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Todays Painting Studio: Hand painted Christmas ornaments
http://todayspaintingstudio.blogspot.com/2014/11/hand-painted-christmas-ornaments.html
Informal "Street Gallery Art" Daily Painting Exhibitions. Hand painted Christmas ornaments. It is always fun and rewarding to make your own Christmas ornaments. I bought some ornaments at the end of the holiday season last year on clearance. Open oil paint worked well for me because of the quick drying time. Also some acrylic puffy paint with glitter and a metallic paint pen for drawing some designs on them. Give it a try; you will be happy you did! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Turns out, this shape suits me quite well! The Dayton Society of Painters and Sculptors. I create lumi...

Black and white charcoal works quite well on grey toned pastel paper, and I like how this one turned out overall. I'll have to play with this set up more often. Sometime...

The adventures of an archaeologist turned artist. Friday, May 31, 2013. May has been a rather crazy month, and as a result I've been rather negligent with the blog. My Facebook page seems to be slowly taking over, but I will try to do a better job of keeping up on here. The "craziness" of this month includes two shows, both with receptions coming up shortly. The first show is the Dayton Society of Painters and Sculptors. Annual Spring Open Juried Show, which runs from May 31 (today! Storm on the Horizon.
