Chrysalis: Happy Birthday to ...me
http://maninabottle.blogspot.com/2012/01/happy-birthday-to-me.html
A chronicle of the inspiring events taking place in my life as I experiment with visualisation, positive thinking and change. Wednesday, 11 January 2012. Happy Birthday to .me. But you know I discovered something out recently which makes me gratefully for living in a big city everyday. I work with a number of people from all over the world and I discovered that in some cultures birthdays do not have as great a significance as it does in Western society. 12 January 2012 at 02:34. Each and every moment I t...

http://johnwalsom.blogspot.com/2014/10/im-doing-illustrations-of-big-boats-at.html
Friday, 10 October 2014. I'm doing illustrations of big boats at the moment, which I can't post as images because they're confidential - in some cases it's just as well. So here's a recent painting of Lulworth Cove from the coastal path, based on an earlier much bigger painting, I now prefer this version. This one's only 8x10" and makes me remember the fresh air and the stiff breeze. Lulworth Cove 2, 8x10" oil on board. The Path Down To Lulworth Cove, 24x30" oil on canvas. View my complete profile.

Chrysalis: June 2012
http://maninabottle.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
A chronicle of the inspiring events taking place in my life as I experiment with visualisation, positive thinking and change. Wednesday, 27 June 2012. So today I took a step out of my comfort zone. I went for an audition for a character modelling agency Ugly Models. I figured it'll be good to try something 180 from the norm and if something comes out of it then great, but if not I haven't quit my day job. After that performance I looked like wallpaper drying. A chronicle of the inspiring events taking place in my life as I experiment with visualisation, positive thinking and change. Thursday, 8 December 2011. Sometimes Destiny and Choice are the same thing. There are many proverbs in the English language about the subject of opportunity and chance. Opportunity only knocks once. Opportunity seldom knocks twice. Strike while the iron is hot. Time and Tide wait on no man. When one door shuts another opens. Stayed free of charge at the hotel and. Figures. In ...
