I have known and do know people with all sorts of *mental illness diagnosis and it is from talking with them that I’ve been questioning our understanding of it. My mind may change on the matter but right now I believe that our understanding of ‘sanity’ vs ‘mentally ill’ is far too simple and in some ways, wrong. Problem 1: What even is mental illness precisely? Seems to confirm this.
