He met lots of other hikers and dogs, enjoyed the view of Boston from the observatory and burrowed under a pine tree for a little rest at the end of the hike. Checking out the trail map. Katahdin sprinted up the hill for the first couple hundred yards - very excited! Stopping for some water and a great view. We reached the sumit! Taking a break on the cool stone floor.

Monday, May 31, 2010. Katahdin Goes to the Beach. Appologies for the lack of posts recently - we've had a busy couple of months! We'll try to update the blog over the next few days with some of Katahdin's recent adventures. On Memorial Day weekend, Katahdin took a trip to Duxbury Beach, where he enjoyed a long weekend of swimming, relaxing and playing with some of his best friends. From left to right, Katahdin, Zuna and Clark. Katahdin didn't like the water at first. But eventually he got the hang of it!

Sunday, April 4, 2010. Katahdin enjoyed his first Easter with his mom and dad and extended family- Cait, Lise, Poppy, Uncle Bill, Jay, Vanessa, medium Jay, Noah, and Cheyenne. He absolutely LOVED the egg hunt, the hike, and playing baseball. He also enjoyed a big family sleepover the night before. Most importantly- he celebrated the Red Sox Opening Day by chewing a celebratory baseball at the park! April 5, 2010 at 8:49 AM. Hi Ali, Connor, and Katahdin! I enjoyed the pictures they were so nice!
