While we were doing that, our neighbor Benny came over and helped Matt cut down 6 trees to thin out our view to the lake. That was also a two day process, poison ivy and all. Matt took the proper precautions, but I still bought two types of treatments just in case! We also got half way through opening our pool on Monday, and then finished up on Tuesday night. We spent 4th of July at Ben's grandma's, went home to watch some fireworks, then we headed up to my family cottage for the rest of the week. It was a nice long vacation! Last Sunday we went back to Ben's grandma's for the day. The kids love it up there! Lots of swimming and building of sand castles. Fun! Oh my goodness, this album was so cute it hurt! Lo and behold, I did have strep, just exactly as I told the doctor I did. The throat culture they did for the lab came back 100% positive for it - so needless to say, I suffered miserably for 3 days longer than I should have. Oh well, I'm over it now and happy to be so.
