at the sidewalk's end: Like A Disease, or Way of Kissing People
http://atthesidewalksend.blogspot.com/2013/04/people-will-talk.html
Sunday, April 28, 2013. Like A Disease, or Way of Kissing People. I have yet to really get back into the habit of quoting, but this is what I have for you, in honor of the end of the semester. I don't know what these quotes say to you, but I think it's fairly clear from them that 1) I go to a church school, 2) I am an English major, and 3) I have really weird friends. If he ever came to date my daughter, I would remove him. From the earth.". Your bodily functions are stupid.". Your mom's face- ". Have gr...

at the sidewalk's end: Martin Luther King Had a Dream. I Would Like One.

Monday, April 30, 2012. Martin Luther King Had a Dream. I Would Like One. Well, friends. I'm home. I've been thinking, in the midst of my sickness and general post-finals exhaustion, and I haven't got a clue what I want to do with my life. I met people at college who knew what they wanted. Thayne is going to study stars- the details of this may not yet be ironed out, but there are definitely stars on his horizon (that pun was just for you, mom. because i love you). It isn't that I thought I would die.

Gin is my Comfort Food. Embracing it all, in the name of internal and external abundance. Tag Archives: home renovation. Posted in 15 Goals for 2015. I’ve been avoiding this space recently. I have written a couple of posts and ended up throwing them away, since they mostly ended up sounding really whiny. My thoughts have generally been pretty whiny as of late. I’m over myself right now! Would we destroy our marriage by having to choose the exact right backsplash or the most perfect paint colors? Have you...

Wednesday, October 26, 2011. On Monday, my mom, Cathi, Nathan, Anne E. and I went to the pumpkin patch. It has been years since I have gone to an actual patch to pick out a pumpkin. There were lots of attractions besides pumpkins and scarecrows. The farm included animals, games, playgrounds, and even a corn maze! Look who's back from Europe . with teeth! Monday, October 10, 2011. Happy Anniversary Gretchen and Henry. Two years ago was the wedding of my dear friends, Gretchen and Henry - Here's to 2 years!

May 30 be a good year for you, Old Man! Full of lots of love and happiness! We are all so happy to have you back in California. We love you lots.

Thoughts and figments of my imagination on topics from cooking, losing weight, gardening, life in general and, in a piss poor mood, how Rome is burning. La la la. Sunday, September 23, 2012. Do you know what makes you happy? If you had to, could you come up with a succinct answer in 30 seconds? I'd even give a person a full on minute if they needed it. Shouldn't I ideally be able to answer that question in that amount if time? But much beyond that? I falter a little. Would you? I do tend to fester about ...

Thoughts and figments of my imagination on topics from cooking, losing weight, gardening, life in general and, in a piss poor mood, how Rome is burning. La la la. Monday, April 30, 2012. I love the light of spring and summer. I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that there IS light after 4 pm. Or the smell of fresh cut grass. Or the fact that there are other people out and about doing out and about things. Love it. Love the light. Love today. Links to this post. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. I dunno...

Saturday, August 7, 2010. 100 Or.The True Story of How I Am Almost There. I find it rather fitting that I just saw this is the 100th post. This blog was begun as a way to help me lose weight by keeping me "honest". And yet, in my absence of quite a few more months that I liked to see, I am almost done with my weight loss.journey? That resonated with me. I want my desires to take up less space in my reality.". But there is the rub, no? Daydreaming often does not become reality. Isn't that sort of the definition of daydreaming? All the What If's, the dream of what your life could be like? That is not reality. Links to this post. Friday, June 22, 2012.
