Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Yesterday, I had the carpets cleaned in my apartment. It was well overdue since it had not been done since I moved in, a complete 6 years ago. I have been so proud of the result! To paint or not to paint? That is the question. It definitely gives me a different perspective on the room! It's the next best thing to moving.mixing it up a bit. Saturday, August 14, 2010. I took part in Transform for the first time today. It was a success! The Village Church has partnered with several schools over the past several years to serve during the summer with school improvement projects and relationship building. This year the Flower Mound campus was at Hedrick Elementary. I felt confident and purposeful in this role. My knowledge of children's literature and my experiences in leveling libraries were quickly put to use. Her English library was complete!

Wednesday, May 26, 2010. I love to be giddy! It is so exciting to have that heart-beating fast, jittery feeling of excitement! It had been a while since it had been around.but its back! I am so glad. This week I have been so giddy about summer that I can hardly contain myself! I am looking forward to a concerts, weekend visitors, spa day, summer nights with live music, Rangers' games, Kansas, Tyler, and.the delight of my heart- Big Bend National Park. ASID otto zenke student competition. The last project of the first semester of fourth year was for a competition for ASID. The competition was a historical renovation of a funeral home to become a children's law center for the University of South Carolina. The design was formed around a woven knit concept, creating a comfortable yet workable environment for lawyers and their clients. This design won an Honorable Mention award within the competition.
