Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Watching Waylon with the kids was so fun. He loved to watch the babies and of course nap with them. He was ever gentle and loving; allowing the kids to do anything to him. His reward for his patience - eating all the food that the kids dropped and licking Campbell clean before bath each night (Mack was not a fan of that practice, C always thought it was hilarious! Campbell has been taking little steps for the past few weeks, but during brunch on Sunday August 28th, he walked (while holding on to my hands) from our table to the kitchen and back! We were so excited. Since then he has been totally focused on walking. He raises his hands and squawks to say "give my your index fingers I want to walk across the house! Campbell loves to help Waylon eat his food! Now if only Campbell would eat his own food! I love my music table!

I cherish each day with them and especially on Mother's Day I am grateful for all the love and joy that they give to me. Every day they teach me how to be a better person. Saturday, October 20, 2012. Our Caged Bird SCREAMS. Campbell has been refusing to sleep in his crib. Every night he would pitch a huge fit (waking up Mack in the process). Eventually we resorted to letting him fall asleep in our arms and then carefully putting him in his crib. And every night a few hours later, he'd be screaming bloody murder and would end up in our bed. And instead of getting progressively better it was getting progressively worse. Oh wait, is that our tire deflating. Stop for lunch...
