On Christmas Eve we only have one lasting tradition: Eating Hins (The best Chinese food you will ever have) for dinner and watching Christmas Vacation! Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Minnie Mouse Birthday Party. Eva turned 2 last week and she wanted a Minnie Mouse Party. She asked if her friends could come and I said of course. If you can name any of your friends I will invite them. After a long pause, all she could come up with is, "I want my friends to come! So with that I decorated and we had a family party. Saturday, June 23, 2012. A Dance with the Stars". I have been stressed, nervous, and excited planning and waiting for the recital. After 5 months of preparations and practicing the day finally came. I had only planned for a few other people than the parents of the 56 dancers (about 175-200 people). I was completely shocked when we packed the entire high school auditorium. Saturday, November 8, 2014. Johnstown, Pittsburgh, Palmyra, Niagara Falls, and Kirtland. 6 States, 9 Days, and 2500 Miles. Hill Cumorah and The Sacred Grove. My parents and I took a road trip with my 3 small kids. This crazy idea actually turned out really well! Peter Whitmer Farm and Book of Mormon Historic Publication Site. Thursday, May 30, 2013. This was the last recital with my dance studio. I can't believe how much the studio has grown in 2 short years. Sunday, March 23, 2014. Baby Steele Came Early. February 20, 2014. 6 lbs 11 oz. After school Phoenix wanted to fly her kite with daddy. They spent the afternoon flying "Mushoo" and pretending to be boys to fight the "Imies", as Eva calls them, or the Huns from Mulan. That night Sampson's family came over for birthday dinner and cake. Phoenix's birthday dinner consisted of macaroni and cheese with hotdogs and blue Koolaid. Not sure if the adults liked the dinner, but Phoenix loved it!

Saturday, April 18, 2015. January: Sampson finally came home :). After 5 months Sampson is finally home for good. He had one last interview in North Carolina and he took me and Steele. Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Catching Up: 5 Months Without Sampson. Butch and Pitty brought their boat up for Butch's birthday, Phoenix started Kindergarten, Steele started eating, we swam A LOT, Sampson and I celebrated 7 years with a run to a waterfall, and I prepared all the guns for when Sampson left for 5 months! I love that my kids are enjoying that too. One day we will have a boat and we can have a boat party! Steele - 7 Months. He sat in the cart for the first time and had the time of his life!
