Monday, May 02, 2011. So another winter has passed and again I am making yet another start on this Blog. This will be the third summer that we have been at this location and I think we are getting the garden to a point where it looks as good as it is going to be. Friday, March 21, 2003. Today we've done a bit more preparation in the garden. We bought a mini greenhouse from B&Q so we've assembled that and put it next to the house, on the patio. We haven't anything that needs to go in it yet though. I took advantage of DH still being here to go and buy some potting compost (local garden centre had a buy one get one free offer - yay! Saturday, March 03, 2007. 2007 A Fresh Start. We completed the patio and moved onto the veg plot. This year we want to try some of the same vegetables as last year and some new ones. We will be planting courgettes and squashes but not as many as last year! Carrots, tomatoes and spring onions. New for 2007 so far will be beetroot and onions.
