Katie began her dance career as a toddler in her mother’s dance studio and has since spent her years training professionally in dance and Musical Theater Performance. As dancing was always her favorite form of expression, she was thrilled to be introduced (by her hubby) to a social dance that went with every jazz song she ever loved: the Lindy Hop! She is now a regular in the Boston scene, dancing Lind . 3rd - Advanced Lindy Hop Jack and Jill (w/Anthony Chen). 8203; Beantown Camp 2016. 2nd - Solo Jazz.

5/23/15 SOLO JAZZ WORKSHOP @ SWING CITY 6-8PM. The Jitterbug Stroll is a swing line dance choreographed in 1992 by Ryan Francois, a Lindy Hop dancer and teacher. It is often danced socially by Lindy Hoppers, much like the Shim Sham! In this workshop, you will learn the Jitterbug Stroll in the first hour and then spend the second hour working on the quality of movement in your jazz steps! This is a solo jazz class. No partner needed. No experience required. See you there! When: Saturday, May 23 6pm-8pm.
