Seeking God in the world through the eyes of my heart. A View From Fifty. August 6, 2015. In mid-life we are left with all that was ever ours to hold in the first place. I say it often because those words still feel a bit strange in my mouth. I am a woman-child staring at the second half of her life. How did I ever get here? It sounds best to say I got here through my own hard work and determination and grit, but truthfully, it was mostly blind-ass luck. Personally, I plan to rock my 50’s. I am ONLY fifty.
