TRI-als and TRI-bulations: Let the fun begin ... again!
http://carotris.blogspot.com/2011/01/let-fun-begin-again.html
Monday, January 3, 2011. Let the fun begin . again! After 5 months of recovery from ankle surgery, I made my first one mile run last night. I guess I wouldn't exactly call it a run. I walked most of it but threw in a few jogs. Remarkably, no pain. I mean no pain at all! I am so excited I can barely contain myself. Now the hard part will be to not over do it just because I feel good. Wish me luck, I will definitely need it. I will keep you posted on the progress. Lookout everybody, I am BACK!

TRI-als and TRI-bulations: August 2010
http://carotris.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Tomorrow is the day! Well, here I sit the night before surgery. I have had 9 other surgeries . yes 9 . but for some reason this one is really worrying me. I think I have finally realized how important triathlons are to me since I have been unable to do them for so long. Now I am worried that I will never get back. Yes, Queen. I remember having a Queen 8-track when in high school and how I played it until it didn't work anymore. Theresa at work has been talking about Fre...

TRI-als and TRI-bulations: July 2008
http://carotris.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 5, 2008. Private First Class Cope. Ok, obviously this blogging is a little more time consuming than I thought. The month of June went by too fast, very little training. Seems the entire month was a countdown until my son came to visit. While Trabert was home he told me about a really cool workout.the MURPH! Ok, I am always up for a challenge so off we went. Now we all know that I have been extremely lazy lately so this proved to be quite a feat! Wow, that still hurt!

TRI-als and TRI-bulations: June 2008
http://carotris.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 3, 2008. Its a State of Mind. I have decided that if I chronicle my trials and tribulations in my quest to be a triathlete that I might actually convince myself that I AM a triathlete. I am not sure anyone will ever read a word of this but maybe the therapeutic qualities of simply putting my life to words will spark some positive energy. If you think you are beaten, your are. If you think you dare not, you won't,. If you like to win, but don't think you can. It's almost a cinch you won't.

TRI-als and TRI-bulations: It's been a long time
http://carotris.blogspot.com/2010/07/its-been-long-time.html
Monday, July 26, 2010. It's been a long time. Yes, I know I am a slacker. Actually, a slacker at more than just blogging. My triathlon career has been lacking the last year and half. I surrended to the thing called Life! Slipped on the cobbles and down I went. No looking around to see if anyone saw my embarrassing moment because I was injured . immediately! Of course, no tears! See you all soon, wish me luck. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Its been a long time. View my complete profile.

TRI-als and TRI-bulations: March 2013
http://carotris.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Retired life of a triathlete. Well, I made the jump from 50 hour work weeks to the life of leisure. Of course any of you that know me know that that's not the whole truth. I did quit my job after 7 years. This was a serious decision that I agonized over for months. I really loved being a graphic designer but it left little time for me and my family. So, I retired. That's about it so far . I hope you stop by often to see how I'm doing! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
