http://cakebible.blogspot.com/2009/04/beginning.html
Two friends attempt to bake their way through the Cake Bible. Stop by to see the progress. Tuesday, April 14, 2009. You know how it goes. You make something terrific and people say- Ooh, you should sell this! You hear that enough and you start to wonder if you could sell some things. How would it work? What exactly could you sell? Where could you do it? Who would buy your stuff? How could it happen without disrupting your life or costing too much to get started? No bread for brunch? Kosher for passover i...

A Little Birm Cooking: Almond Cake
http://alittlebirmcooking.blogspot.com/2010/11/almond-cake.html
A Little Birm Cooking. Saturday, November 20, 2010. I hosted Bunco this month and wanted to have LOTS of SUGAR! I had my cousin, McKinna make her famous cupcakes and chocolate covered pretzels. I made some sugar cookies and my almond cake. I threw this picture in- before pouring the batter into the cookie sheet- it needs to be greased with shortening and flour. I did the flour part outside to avoid the mess! Almond cake out the oven! Cut into finger sized pieces. 3/4 c real butter. 2 1/4 c. flour. Refrig...

Ashleigh's Edibles: Zucchini Bread
http://ashleighsedibles.blogspot.com/2009/07/zucchini-bread.html
Friday, July 3, 2009. One of the best things about summer is all the fresh, homegrown fruits and vegetables. I can't take credit for growing this lovely zucchini (it was given to me by a co-worker), but I will take credit for the bread. :) Of course I will also give credit to my wonderful husband who used his muscles to shredded 5 cups of zucchini for me to use and freeze. :) Thanks, Sweetie! My mother-in-law makes the best zucchini bread! I think my mother-in-law would be proud. 3 cups all-purpose flour.

Dolce-incanto: Chocolate Valentino
http://thesugarshop.blogspot.com/2009/03/chocolate-valentino.html
Saturday, February 28, 2009. I seriously can't believe that its the end of February. School has been really hectic and I couldn't find any time for myself, let alone time to bake. :/. Anyway, I finally completed it since this Daring Bakers' Challenge was pretty straight forward and simple. A flourless chocolate cake, served with home-made ice-cream. I paired the warm chocolate cake with a salted-caramel and almond ice cream. Adapted from Sweet Treats by Chef Wan. 1 stick plus 2 T unsalted butter.

A Little Birm Cooking: Chicken Chili
http://alittlebirmcooking.blogspot.com/2010/12/chicken-chili.html
A Little Birm Cooking. Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Cold and rainy weather- definitely time for chili! I make mine in the crock pot and let it do all the work! I have a different recipe that calls for pineapple and I really like the combination of the spicy chilies and the sweetness of the pineapple so I threw some in too- but I usually make it without. 1 can pinto beans; drained and rinsed. 1 can kidney beans; drained and rinsed. 1 can chili beans with sauce. 1 can diced tomatoes. A Spoonful of Thyme.
