Here's the problem with living in New York City. I want everything. Seriously. It's bad. Every day I walk down the street and there's a girl with the most adorable jacket. And look at those flats! But we are so poor. But . . . there's a Muji store right there and a Madewell at the end of the block. City, why are you so wonderful? That's all. Up With The Birds. Uhhhh, love this. Something about the snow makes me nostalgic. Its gentle, still fall is peaceful yet melancholy. It causes me to turn down my speakers and listen to the silence. As I watch it descend I can't help but think of the things I left behind. While I long for it to be different the next time around,. I still reminisce about how things used to be. They say history repeats itself. Lets hope not this time. For now, these lyrics provide a source of comfort.
