Disheveled Soul: February 2011
http://mydisheveledsoul.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 7, 2011. I have smoked pot once – and I smoke a cigarette from time to time with my boyfriend (less than a pack every… 4 months? Neither one of us are "addicted.". None of these are true about me. I left the church because it simply is not true. You know my problem? My problem is that the LDS church doesn't meet my standard… and what standard could an awful apostate like me possibly have? My standard is integrity. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Disheveled Soul: Alcohol.
http://mydisheveledsoul.blogspot.com/2011/10/alcohol.html
Sunday, October 2, 2011. I almost published this on my public blog. Most of my Mormon friends have been pretty understanding of my new way of thinking, but I thought this might be a little much. Maybe one day…. The key is also being smart and responsible. My dad has also had some very painful things happen to him and his family because of alcohol so I can understand why for him and for other people the word alcohol is immediately associated with making bad choices. Cooking. I've always wanted to cook...

http://mydisheveledsoul.blogspot.com/2011/04/letting-go.html
Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Last summer I went to Flaming Gorge Reservoir with my brother and some of his friends to go cliff jumping. I was so excited to go. I hadn't been camping in quite a few years and that with the combination of cliff jumping (something I'd never done) the anticipation had really been built up. May 18, 2012 at 1:30 AM. Ill never jump, I hate water and I dont float! May 18, 2012 at 1:31 AM. Ill never jump, I hate water and I dont float! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Saturday, February 4, 2012. Nowhere to put this. So for the few people that still read this, I'm sorry that I'm so boring and uninformative - and that all you get is the things that have no place in my "real life." Today I have 3 topics for you. 3 Parents of the faith. Do you think this has been EASY for me? I am a good person. I make good decisions - and I am happy." (Paraphrasing of course, but I did say all of those things to her). I'm hoping it cleared the air a little bit. My dad has yet to talk to ...

Truth can withstand all scrutiny. Newer posts →. When is a Choice Free? April 28, 2010. I recently began working with a woman who wears a niqāb. But I can’t help but wonder if her choice to wear the veil is really a free choice, in the important sense of the word ‘free.’ A choice made under duress or threat of punishment is not, in my mind, a free choice. Such a choice is not indicative of freedom, but of coercion. Would it harm her marriage, or even ruin it? Would her friends and community shun her?

Truth can withstand all scrutiny. KJV in the BOM, vs. JST of the KJV. June 12, 2011.
