Life Savers: April 2015

Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Not Eggactly Your Average Hunt. I wouldn't say that we have many official rules when it comes to egg hunts. We only put money in the camo eggs. Egg have to be visible from some angle. We let the younger kids start first, but not by much. That is pretty much it. Egg hunts are usually done outdoors, but they can certainly be done inside. There is NO Easter Bunny. Mom usually hides the eggs. Robyn found some very sneaky ones. Grandpa, on the other hand, was in one of the off-limit...

Thursday, December 4, 2008. What A Fun Vacation! So we went on our vacation to San Diego the week before Thanksgiving and we had such a good time. It was so nice to get away and have some family time. We left Saturday and went as far as Phoenix and spent time with family there and spent the night in Maricopa with Gary's brother (Thanks Jeff and Sue) and then went on in to San Diego on Sunday afternoon. On Monday we went to Sea World and we all had a blast! Here's just a few pics from our trip!

Gardner Family Blog: Oh My Strawberries!
http://ghgardnerfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010/05/oh-my-strawberries.html
Saturday, May 1, 2010. And I only have this many more fresh strawberries left. Big thanks go to my wonderful mother-in-law! Your the best Zilpha! My mouth was watering just looking at all those strawberries! And the jam looks delicious too. I think I could eat strawberries with every meal! Freezing them is a good idea though because then you can pull them out and use them whenever. I especially LOVE them on homemade vanilla icecream! May 1, 2010 at 9:29 PM. Yummthat looks so delicious!

Life Savers: Back in Business
http://caziertm.blogspot.com/2015/05/back-in-business.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. School is just weeks away from closure. We are in a mad dash to the finish with projects, plays, concerts, reports, fieldtrips, and the like. How does one mom keep up? Not to mention the month of posts that I am behind on. Part of me thought that I could coast until summer and I would catch up then, but inside my head there was hysterical laughter (the creepy kind) because we don't slow down during the summer and posts would pile up like laundry does around here. June also got a ha...

Life Savers: Nothing Like a Summer Wedding
http://caziertm.blogspot.com/2009/06/nothing-like-summer-wedding.html
Monday, June 29, 2009. Nothing Like a Summer Wedding. The flower girl took her job very seriously. The bride was beautiful (veil compliments of yours truly). The audience was mesmerized. There was a tense moment when the groom realized (s)he forgot the rings. But it all worked out. There was dancing which concluded with a fabulous dip. Fruit snacks for refreshments was a perfect finish. What a beautiful day for a wedding. Your girls come up with the most creative things to do together. What a special day!

Life Savers: Crackalicious
http://caziertm.blogspot.com/2015/05/crackalicious.html
Friday, May 1, 2015. Decorating and cracking with my family in Washington is one of my favorite things to do. Grandma went all out this time. Before we even arrived, she had three eggs ready for each person. We usually only do two, but she wanted to make sure that we had extra in case there was premature cracking. Because we had more eggs, most people decorated three, although we limited two entries per person to the decorating contest. Let's look at all these amazing eggs. I love Miranda's 'Butter'fly.

Life Savers: Softball in the Park
http://caziertm.blogspot.com/2015/05/softball-in-park.html
Monday, May 11, 2015. Softball in the Park. While it may sound like an epic title for an around-the-town folksy novel, "Softball in the Park" is merely an apt description for what we did tonight. We invited another family, the Waite's, to play a little ball. Many were beginners, so we had some training as we went. But we are proud to say that everyone got a hit! It wouldn't be Family Home Evening without a song, prayer, scripture, and treat; so we did those up front and quickly moved on to the game.

Walking In Others Shoes: January 2009
http://walkinginothersshoes.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Walking In Others Shoes. DON'T JUDGE A MAN UNTIL YOU HAVE WALKED A MILE IN HIS SHOES "Don't criticize another person's work until you've tried to do it yourself; don't judge another person's life until you've been forced to live it.". Sunday, January 25, 2009. I posted the Police Officer's Prayer the other day and it made me wonder if there were one for firefighters. I was looking online and found this picture with the poem and I loved it and decided to share it too! I also posted this on my other blog.

Jacob, Cristal and the M&M's: November 2010
http://jacobandcristal.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Jacob, Cristal and the M&Ms. Monday, November 1, 2010. Mason's Birthday # 2. I know I know the cake is a little girly. Kamila and I took a cake decorating class for the whole month of October. This cake is my final project. We had to use some of the things that we learned during the class to decorate the final cake so it has flowers but with buzz and the alien's Mason thought it was pretty cool.
