Wow, that has flown by, I mean it feels like a snap of the fingers but then when I think about what I have done, and look back on my blog I realise that yes it's been a year, one hell of an awesome year! Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Week 44 - Methven Wonderland. Just when I thought life was as good as it could get I upgraded! I moved from the backpackers to quite frankly the best flat in town. I've duly called it Jace's Super Pad! It's fooking fantastic. For the same amount of money I no longer share a room with 4 people, I have my very own double bed and ensuite bathroom with the best power shower -sorry Niamh it beats yours, and those in the know, know that's no mean fate! Her birthday was lovely, she's loved by so many people, it was so touching to be there, throughout the day her friends and family called over bringing cake, smiles, stories and wonderful laughter. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Week 39 (2) - Taupo and Auckland. On Tuesday morning Brid drove me to Hamilton where I caught the bus to Taupo. I had arranged to meet Brendon, the caving guide and rock climbing instructor from Waitomo. He had offered to teach me how to lead climb for free, now how could I say no to that! I arrived in Taupo. Around 2pm and killed the next few hours checking out the town. I went to see Robin Hood. At the cinema, which was bloody brilliant, Russell Crowe, rugged, rough and ready!
