Tamara's EDET 620 Blog. Friday, July 23, 2010. ESL Students in the Classroom. Accomodating ESL (or ELL as my county uses) students in the classroom can be difficult. I have had students that are either limited English (but have at least a conversational level) or students that are very math proficient (and simly do not know the English words). With students that have difficulties with english, I have found that some extra, individual time is rather helpful. But often times there are confusions.
