A little earlier than planned because I had to drive my youngest to work for 11:30, but I was OK with that. By Monday morning we are all ready to pack up and head out anyway. Monday, January 13, 2014. Dear readers; i need your advice. Today i have to order my pump supplies. I use an Animas Ping pump (which i love! And i have tried several different infusion sets. I had been using the Rapid D for quite some time, but they don't quite fit the pump properly and i have to trim a little off the sides of the part that attaches to the cartridge. not a biggie, but still i began to wonder if that may cause a problem down the road. Thursday, August 01, 2013. Why do i wait? This is just a small sampling of the number of lancets I have at my disposal at any given time. Every 3 months I receive another 3 boxes with my pump supplies. That's a total of 300 every. I had so many that I dropped 6 boxes of 100ea to my local Canadian Diabetes Association office. July 6, 2012. The significance of today snuck up on me last yesterday afternoon. Today, July 6th, is the one year anniversary of starting my “big girl job.” It’s a little crazy to think that at this point last year, I showed up to this agency with a combination of nervousness and excitement. I was amazed that I had my own office, with a window and a real door and I loved it. What can I say? I’m neat and tidy. I later learned how lucky I was. Experience to share with you.
