Right, general rule of thumb with 12v, red lead is what, black is what? And on a light fitting the cable coming directly from bulb is usually negative or positive? I’m sorry but if you have to ask these questions you shouldn’t be tampering with such things! Black is 0v Red should be 12V however there is no standard for this. GO FOR IT *.

Built in 1991 by her current owner, Emily Anne is a coal fired steam narrow boat, she is 58ft long, with a steel hull, and a steam plant that was commissioned specific for her.
