cullenary: February 2011
http://cullenarykitchen.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 4, 2011. I love making homemade pizza, but mine always was a bit flawed, or watery I should say. After doing some research I tried a few new techniques. Here they are:. 1 Do not cook the sauce. I was skeptical of this. I always made a big pot of sauce, let it cook on the stove and then put it on the pizza and cook it again in the oven. Well, it's already cooking in the oven, so there is no need to double cook it. That's why it may turn a bit brown sometimes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

cullenary: Manchego Cheese with Brown Butter Sauce
http://cullenarykitchen.blogspot.com/2010/01/manchego-cheese-with-brown-butter-sauce.html
Saturday, January 2, 2010. Manchego Cheese with Brown Butter Sauce. We had some leftover manchego cheese and we were looking for a simple way to use it up. I found this recipe from Tyler Florence as part of a series of Spanish tapas. It was delicious. I really like the sweet and salty trend that seems to be more and more popular. For this dish you just cook butter in a sauce pan until it is golden brown, and then add honey. Pour the sauce over the cheese and sprinkle with sea salt. Welcome to Our Kitchen.

cullenary: August 2009
http://cullenarykitchen.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 30, 2009. Its really easy to make a bad hamburger. I've finally perfected a really good one. Its much easier than you'd think. Step Two: Add salt and pepper and a little cooking oil. You can also throw in some minced garlic and onion at this point if you want to. Form in to 5-6 ounce patties. I just tried the Steak and Shake technique of placing a ball of ground beef on the skillet and smashing it down with a press and it turned out great. This is probably how I'll do it from now on. The De Jong Family: April 2012
http://thedejongfamily123.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 14, 2012. I have been neglecting my blog recently and have been busy getting ready for baby #3 to arrive. So here is a little update of what we have been up to recently. First of all we really enjoyed our unseasonably warm weather. Even the slip and slide came out one day. I got a little too excited and washed all the winter coats and put them away only to have to take them out again this past week. On March 22 Annika turned 5 years old! But she thinks that she looks beautiful.
