Today was one of the most exciting days of pregnancy thus far.our 3D/4D ultrasound! We went to an amazing place called Discovery Ultrasound. In Jacksonville. Allison, the owner and technician, was wonderful and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone! My mom and grandmother were even able to watch live from their computers at home. Here's what we found out about our little man today.

So it's still 90 degrees in my humble Florida abode, but the calendar claims it is fall and thus I have begun some fall decorating in casa Kizziah. Hour or so hand rolling "rosettes" in varying sizes. Just cut the fabric in strips, fold strips in half, roll them up, hot glue to secure. Super simple, but a little time consuming. Sunday, May 5, 2013. We had tickets (and more importantly: OUTFITS) for the Shepherd Center's Derby Day fundraiser yesterday. It was out at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, and we were really looking forward to it! Andrew's law firm has some tickets each year, and we were sad to miss out last year. Wellif you live anywhere in Georgia, then you know what the weather was like this weekend. It could not have been any less. Perfect for an outdoor event. Windy, raining, and in the mid-50s!

Monday, September 23, 2013. Friday after work we headed north for Andrew's annual work retreat. For the last two years, we've gone to Barnsley Gardens in Adairsville, but this year they switched it up and took us to the Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris. The camera stayed in my bag for the most part, and even if I had taken any pictures on Saturday.all you would have seen was pouring rain! Sunday was a beautiful, clear (and cool! Day, though, so we stopped at an overlook on the way out.

Sunday, July 14, 2013. Some Flat Rock Fun. As some of you probably noticed, the blog has been on a bit of a hiatus for the past few weeks - but that only came after a June full of get-togethers and getaways. One of those was a three-day weekend trip to the Asheville area to celebrate the 40th wedding anniversary of my grandparents, Jack and Joanne.
